The record
Fabtech cleanroom projects across India
Fabtech Cleanrooms has designed, built and validated more than 2,000 cleanroom projects across India since 2004. The clients are pharmaceutical, biotech, semiconductor, electronics, aerospace and research companies.
This page is the record of that work: real sites, named and grouped by industry, from oral-solids plants to BSL-3 containment labs. One in-house team carried each project from the first design through to handover.

Two decades of cleanroom work, grouped by industry
The fastest way to judge a cleanroom company is not what it says about itself. It is the rooms it has already built and handed over. Fabtech has been building classified environments in India, across industries with very different rules. A tablet plant has to hold its GMP conditions through every shift. A containment lab has to keep a live pathogen inside. One accountable team carried each project from the first design through to a validated handover. The same team owned every interface between design, panel fabrication, air handling and validation.
Across those industries we build to whatever class or grade the process actually needs. Pharmaceutical environments run from EU-GMP Grade C/D up to the higher grades a sterile process needs. Classified cleanrooms span ISO 14644 Class 5-8. Containment work is BSL-3 biocontainment. Electronics and precision assembly sit at ISO Class 6-8. Every one of those rooms is designed to ISO 14644-1/-2/-3, and built to withstand inspection under the framework that governs its own industry: Schedule M and WHO-GMP for pharma, biosafety practice for containment.
The class and grade ranges quoted above are pending client confirmation.

Client, location and industry are stated where that client has cleared them. Scope and cleanroom class read "On request" until the same clearance comes through. Nothing in this record is invented.
Reading the record
- Named and cleared
- The client has cleared its name, and where known the location, to be published here.
- On request
- Delivered, but the scope, class or location sits under confidentiality until the client releases it.
- Pending clearance
- Carries a review marker: we are waiting on written permission before this line is final.
- True site position
- Index in the register
- Simplified national boundary

A city is plotted only where the site itself is named for it. Everything else in the record sits in the table below, on request until the client clears it.
The names in this table are published with each client's permission. The scope, cleanroom class and, where it is not part of the site's own name, the location of each project stay with that client and are shared on request.

This is a selection of named sites, not the full record of more than 2,000 projects. Ajanta Pharma, Bosch Nashik, Desano Pharma, HAL Bangalore and BARC have published project pages; the rest we walk you through privately, under the host client's disclosure permissions. Tell us the industry, grade and region you are working in and we can put comparable references in front of you.
Fabtech also builds cleanrooms for solar and photovoltaic manufacturing and for data-centre white space, engineered on the pages below. For controlled food and beverage environments, and for the wider semiconductor picture, start there too.
Case studies you can read in full
Each one a different room doing a different job. Where a client has cleared its full scope we publish the case study; where it has cleared only its name, the project record shows the work without the numbers.
What you get on request
A logo on a wall proves little on its own. What tells you whether a company can handle your project is the detail behind a comparable one. Which class did the room hit? What scope did one team hold? How was its performance proved and signed off?
For a reference we can share, subject to the client's disclosure permissions, you get:
- Classification and gradeThe cleanroom classification and GMP grade delivered on a comparable site, stated as an ISO 14644 class and an EU-GMP grade or BSL level.
- Scope Fabtech heldWhich parts of the job sat with one accountable team: cleanroom design, build, cleanroom HVAC, validation, or a defined subset of them.
- Validation deliverablesThe qualification completed and signed off: DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ, HEPA integrity by PAO/DOP, particle counts to ISO 14644-1, and pressure mapping across the cascade.
- Photography and contactWhere the client has cleared it, project photography and a reference contact you can speak to directly, or a visit to a live site.
Tell us the industry, grade and region you are working in and we will put a matching set in front of you.

Ajanta Pharma, Aurangabad. The only project on this page whose photography a client has cleared for publication.
Project reference questions
Yes. Fabtech has delivered cleanroom projects across India for pharmaceutical, biotech, electronics, aerospace and research clients. We can share references for your industry, grade and region on request. Where a client has cleared its name and figures, we publish them. Otherwise we share what we can privately.
Pharmaceutical, including oral solids and other GMP manufacturing. Biotech and biocontainment, including BSL-3 laboratories. Electronics and precision assembly, aerospace, and research institutions. Fabtech also builds controlled environments for solar and photovoltaic manufacturing and for data-centre white space. Named sites include Ajanta Pharma, Desano Pharma, PGICH, ASMC, Bosch and HAL.
More than 2,000 cleanroom projects across India since 2004, for pharmaceutical, biotech, semiconductor, electronics, aerospace and research clients. The named sites on this page are a selection from that record, published where the client has cleared its name. The rest stay confidential, and we can still describe a comparable project to you privately.
In most cases yes, subject to the host client's permission and site access rules. These are operating regulated facilities. Tell us the kind of project you are planning. We will arrange a relevant reference, a reference call or, where the client agrees, a site visit.
Because these are named clients. Their facility layouts, validated performance figures and audit outcomes are commercially sensitive, and sometimes regulatorily sensitive too. Rather than publish numbers a client has not cleared, we share them privately under that client's permissions. The useful detail still reaches you.
No. It is an oral solid dosage facility making tablets and capsules. It is classified to EU-GMP Grade C/D, not the aseptic Grade A used for sterile injectables. It relies on particle control, a proven pressure cascade and humidity control. There is no aseptic core and no unidirectional laminar airflow.
Yes. Design, manufacture, installation and validation sit with one accountable team, which is how every project in this record was delivered. That covers cleanroom design and layout, modular panels and cleanroom doors, the cleanroom HVAC and pressure cascade, and the full qualification dossier with HEPA integrity testing and particle counts to ISO 14644-1.
